Find local teen help for homework, reading, math, study skills and other everyday academic support through LocalKid.

LocalKid connects families with nearby parent approved teens for age appropriate tutoring and homework help, with parent and guardian involvement, homeowner screening and structured onboarding built into the process.

Small Job. Big Start.

Helping a younger student understand fractions. Practising reading. Reviewing homework before a test.

Tutoring gives teens a chance to use what they know, build confidence and develop communication and leadership skills while earning money.

LocalKid helps make those neighbourhood connections easier and more structured.

Local help with everyday schoolwork

Teens may be able to help with:

• Elementary math
• Reading practice
• Writing and grammar
• Homework support
• Study skills
• French practice
• Science
• Test preparation
• Organization
• School routines
• Basic computer skills for schoolwork
• Other everyday academic support

Sometimes the best tutor learned it recently

Older students often remember which concepts were difficult because they learned them not long ago.

That can make teen tutoring more relatable for younger students and give families another option for everyday homework help.

LocalKid tutoring is designed for peer support and schoolwork assistance, not professional teaching or specialized educational services.
