What kind of work could you do?
During the pilot, LocalKid will collect your interests, availability, and task preferences so we can better understand what kinds of opportunities may be a fit.
- Yard clean-up and seasonal chores
- Dog walking and pet care support
- Plant watering and vacation check-ins

- Babysitting or parent-helper tasks
- Basic tech help for Seniors
You should only sign up for tasks you are comfortable doing and allowed to do. If you're under 18, some tasks may require parent/guardian approval.
How it works
How to join the pilot
Step 1: Fill out the teen interest form
Tell us about your age, location, availability, and what kinds of tasks you want to do.
Step 2: Guardian registration, if needed
If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to complete their part of the process.
Step 3: LocalKid reviews your profile
The pilot team reviews information before moving teens into eligible task workflows.
Step 4: Start earning with approved tasks
Once approved and matched, you can begin completing eligible tasks through LocalKid.
Resume building
