A familiar face for your pet
For many pets, having the same nearby person stop in can be easier than relying on a large service or someone who lives across town.
LocalKid gives homeowners another way to find help close to home while giving teens meaningful opportunities to work in their own neighbourhoods.
Pet safety comes first
Homeowners should provide clear instructions about their pet's size, temperament, routines and any important handling information before a task begins.
Pet care involving aggressive animals, medical treatment, specialized handling or other situations that may not be appropriate for a teen should be handled by a qualified adult or professional.
