Need help with small jobs around your home or neighborhood? Register first so your task can be reviewed and posted through the LocalKid pilot.

Want to earn money, build experience, and help people nearby? Join the pilot and tell us what kinds of tasks you are interested in.

Have a teen interested in earning money through LocalKid? Complete the parent/guardian registration so we can support a safer onboarding process.

Homeowners need reliable help with everyday tasks that are too small for a contractor, too inconvenient to ignore, and too time-consuming to manage alone.
At the same time, teens need flexible ways to earn money, build confidence, and gain real work experience close to home.
LocalKid sits in the middle, creating a structured bridge between neighbors who need help and teens who are ready to work.
Homeowners, teens, and parents/guardians complete the appropriate onboarding forms so LocalKid can collect the information needed to support the pilot workflow.
Tasks, availability, and participant information are reviewed before moving forward. Safety and fit come before speed.
Once approved, teens can complete eligible local tasks, track activity through the platform, and receive payment through the LocalKid workflow.

LocalKid is not a casual message board. The platform is being built with layered onboarding, safety checks, parent/guardian involvement, and structured task workflows from day one.
Tasks are not posted until the homeowner or tenant completes the required registration process and passes a background check.
Parents and guardians are included in the onboarding process for unemancipated teens under the age of 18.
Tasks and teens can be reviewed for fit, safety, age appropriateness, and readiness before moving forward.
LocalKidTM is designed to support transparent task payments through a marketplace-style process using Stripe to complete transactions.

LocalKid is designed for simple, neighborhood-based work. The pilot will focus on tasks that are practical, age-appropriate, and easy to scope.

Task availability may vary based on age, location, risk level, parent/guardian permissions, and pilot capacity.
LocalKid is starting with a focused pilot to validate demand, refine operations, and build the trust infrastructure needed for a scalable neighborhood task marketplace.
Choose the registration path that fits you. Once your form is submitted, the LocalKid platform will guide the next step.
